Characters' settings seems all over the place, is there any reason Ageha has a Japanese name and his brother a European one? The elf teacher is a Romanov and the Goddess has a Chinese looking appearance.

I hope his parents are not shitty but they neglected him (who is their firstborn) even when he was sick to the point of possibly dying, let's see if there is a good reason for that.

Edit: Ageha almost got spirited away. If he took up on the goddess' offer to go to the heavens I think that would have been a one-way trip.

I wonder how Beryl can be so strong if he was just training out of habit. He seemed to lack much ambition, not going back to dungeons to try to fight monsters again years after he improved his skill, and not seeking out different opponents like magicians to train against.

Beelzebub's Garden was an absolute jungle, so vast that it was easy to get lost in it, and also housed monsters.

Kurt got back to the border town which wall he worked on in the 1st episode. The anime didn't say much about travel time so I got confused about the countries' geography, he seemed to have travelled all over it in these few episodes.

Was the guild receptionist girl who they let in on Kurt's secret last episode in a nearby town or this?

Edit: also the informant Danzo employed just happened to be Bandana. Such coincidence /s

The animation looked a bit different from what I remembered season 1 was, turned out this season is made by a different studio. I wonder what happened to the previous one, REVOROOT, they seemed to have stopped updating their website since 2022.

The new studio is Teddy, and this seems to be their first full season work, previously just helping out other studios on episodes.

I have read the manga but not watched the previous anime adaptation. I was surprised to hear Conan's voice from Yaiba (apparently Takayama Minami is reprising the same role from the previous adaptation). The animation quality was good, it seemed this anime has a good budget allocated. They also kept the art style from the manga intact. I think this is something I'll enjoy this season.

Unfortunately just an average trash isekai (though I don't mind that it is trash isekai). It's not notably bad or anything, just not notably good either. There wasn't much cooking in the show, if that is your interest.

Pretty sure Kenichi's line in the intro 命を燃やせ 今がその時だ (inochi wo moyase / ima ga sono toki da) is a reference to this, which also fits his around 40 age.

They basically finished the manga without the extra chapter, but the mayonaise-mage who is probably also from Japan did get a cameo in the after credits scene.
