How to find a good school for masters? Or How to find phd offers?
It is somewhat of xy problem too, so please read the post for more details.
A bit about my background - I am currently doing Bachelours of Technology (last semester) from a somewhat reputed university. (If you belive in those sham rankings - it is in top 200 in world).
I want to do a doctorate (and stay in academia/research, not interested in industry). I am still not fixated on a particular research field (intersted by many things) but I have a strong inclanation towards one, so currently that only.
One option is to do phd in my current uni only, but thing is that my uni is not that great in terms of research (can be generalised to country as well to some extent) - mostly it comes down to lack of funding and lack of students interested in doing research, most people are interested in joing some or other industry.
Other option is to go abroad. Considering the current environment, my current preference would be "Europe only".
From what I know, doing a do

My setup feels off, but I can't figure out why. Can anyone help me improve it?

How do I build confidence and regain a sense of control over my actions/life? Gradual decline from hard worker into procrastination/lack of discipline.
Growing up, I considered myself a relatively hard worker and to be fair, it's brought me to a decent place now. With opportunities/good luck and work, I live in a nice place, have a good job, savings, etc. But for whatever reason, I've slowly lost my edge over the last year or two. During work, I find myself being less productive/procrastinating, and I spend my free time watching TV or eating junk.
I know I can do better, but I've lost confidence over time. I compare myself to my others and feel lazy (because I am or at least could be better, etc.)
I have three major areas in my life at this moment:
- Work - things have been slow tbh, there's a big project coming but rather than dedicating the extra time to the other two things, I'm wasting time and often procrastinating minor work tasks where I have to do them on the weekend.
- Career Pivot - this has been difficult because I'm building my resume to move into a new field. I'm chipping away a bit at a time, but certainly coul

How do I setup remote ssh for my jellyfin server?
I currently have a jellyfin server on a rpi4 running raspbian (I think). I'm planning to migrate that to a Dell Wyse mini pc before I go on a month long trip. I would like to be able to ssh into it from outside my home and add movies and stuff. I have already setup ddns for the jellyfin server, so I only need for a way to add movies to it.

My first home server
I need some advice on what hardware to buy for my home setup. I see a lot of posts talking about software, but not so much hardware. I would love to have a box I can buy and start setting up stuff.
A rack seems a bit expensive, my initial budget I feel is reasonable starting out is about $500-$800.
I’ve been looking at mini PCs, what are your thoughts on ASUS PN52? Just throwing that into the post to give a pin point of what I’m looking for.
I’m planning on hosting
- Bitwarden
- Nextcloud
- Plex
- Standard notes
- Lemmy instance
- Web server
- Openresty
And need to be able to upgrade storage etc. for future proofing.
Thankful for all insights, tips, and suggestions!
