Why do I always have an infinite loop for CloudFlare "Checking if the site connection is secure" verification when I don't have the page open in a container?

Edit: I figured it out. It was caused by the User-Agent Switcher and Manager addon, I use it to switch user agents on one site. I switched it to whitelist mode in the settings and now it works.

Like when I try to log into chat.openai.com, I click the checkbox that I'm human and it just keeps reloading that checkbox without progressing the page. But when I open the tab in a Firefox container (which you can install with the Firefox Multi-Account container addon), it works.

I want it to work without a container open.

How to automatically save posts & comments as draft (firefox/chrome plugin)

If you ever have the problem of forgetting you were writing something and closing a window, or accidentally navigating away from the page on which you are composing, this is the browser extension to save your ass: Form History Control.

In kbin I especially have this problem as I get logged out constantly for some reason, for example while I am composing even a fairly short comment, and if I submit while logged out the text vanishes. But everything is stored in the extension. It is local to your machine where it will be secure.

I am using it for a year or two now and it

Lemmy Modern UI Theme

I made a Firefox addon that replaces the styles on Lemmy instances with something more modern. It works with Lemmy 0.17 and 0.18. It supports both light and dark theme.

Addon: https://addons.mozilla.org/firefox/addon/lemmy-modern-ui-theme

Repository: https://github.com/pkrasicki/lemmy-modern-ui-theme-addon

Screenshots

I also released the CSS files - they can be used as a theme on a Lemmy instance. Tell your instance admin to give it a try: https://github.com/pkrasicki/lemmy-modern-ui-theme-addon/releases
