How to move Search bar to top in KISS Launcher.

In kiss launcher Search bar is at bottom and I want it to be at top of screen. It is not a option by default but I remember a fork implemented it.

Can anyone tell me that fork if they remember?

I want to disable google play services for obvious reasons. Ntfy is working fine for me so no issue with push notifications. But GPS is incredibly slow how to replace location functions provided by google (without root)?

From @LineageOS install instructions - success is normal, but errors are also fine:

Normally, adb will report Total xfer: 1.00x, but in some cases, even if the process succeeds the output will stop at 47% and report adb: failed to read command: Success. In some cases it will report adb: failed to read command: No error or adb: failed to read command: Undefined error: 0 which is also fine.

Smartwatch won't connect via bluetooth anymore

My mom tries to #bluetooth pair her smart watch and her phone. But every time she enters the correct validation code in her phone, the watch denies the #pairing.

her watch is a Suunto Peak 9 Pro
Smart phone is some Shift Phone 5 on Android edit8/edit
watch and phone have been factory reset
app has been reinstalled
watch to the latest firmware
phone bt cache and data have been deleted
phone network data has been reset
the watch can connect to another phone
her phone can connect to other bt devices

Any suggestions? What are we missing?

Almost Bricked my Phone

! I am not a dev, I just wanna use aosp bc google bad (imo) ; this is a shitpost but lemmy is empty enough

I was just researching about unicode on my phone, found an app to show all unicodes

Some symbols were not showing up. I searched for latest unicode font android Magik zip.

Found one, flashed it, rebooted = bootloop

annoyed, went to fastboot mode, connected phone to pc, fastboot boot twrp.img ; thought flashing the aosp rom again would fix it although it will disable Magisk

Flashed zip to the wrong slot (I was dual booting Linux and android) ; Linux dead ; nvm there was nothing of importance on linux

Flashed zip to the correct slot (I wanna atleast save my android) ; success booted bootloop

went to twrp again, this time formatted all data (fuk my data, I have backup) ; data format fails DBE decryption error or something

Cant think of any other solution, fallback to last resort, ie. fastboot rom, 5.9 gb rom file,

what is this process? @android 🙄

you can now natively install @CrystalLanguage on your @android device's #Termux.

Before you had to use #asdf or @homebrew for that.
