[Meta-Analysis] One Piece online communities analysis ๐ŸŒ๐Ÿดโ€โ˜ ๏ธ โ›ต

There exist multiple One Piece communities dispersed on the internet, in no way this is a complete list of these, just the shard I became aware of over time:

The variation in community size, interests and topics discussed is astonishing. Once these forums become to big, they transition in content: from fanart to long elaborate fanclub post to theories to power scaling to posts (perhaps sometimes devoid of meaning).

I wanted to show you there exist multiple decentralized community islands outside of reddit r/onepiece monopoly ๐ŸŒด๐Ÿดโ€โ˜ ๏ธ๐Ÿโ›ต. If you know of any other such forums, or want to share criticism of these, you can reply in the comments. #onepiece #onepiecefandom #analysis

  • Cool, thank you for the list

I have a little group of friends to comment with the latest chapter every time

After leaving reddit thatโ€™s how replaced the experience. Donโ€™t really need fanart or cosplay, so itโ€™s working even kinda better than reddit

For the โ€œchapter is outโ€ part, the one who sees the chapter firsts is the one who posts the link in the group and we fine

  • Talking of Arlong Park, they're running NodeBB, so if they upgrade to the latest version and enable federation, we'll be able to post there directly from our Lemmy accounts.
