How do I cross post on lemmy?

Maybe it varies from instance to instance, but on sh.itjust.works there's a crosspost button near the report flag.

You can find it as the two overlapping squares at the bottom of the header:

Sorry to hijack the thread, but is there any way I can view where something is crossposted to? If I see a post i like, I might find other interesting communities by looking at the crossposted-list

I think you have to do it manually. I haven't seen any short cut myself.

I don't use lemmy but apparently there is a button a bit hidden somewhere. I believe this question was asked here earlier today.

The button looks like a copy icon. Just mouseover the buttons to the right of the comment count.
