Well that’s a legendary stand
I learned the other day that those fans in red are cornhuskers, not sooners. Great episode.
This is the best game I’ve watched so far this season. Absolutely bonkers.
Game of the fucking year right there
Side note, one of the huge plusses of OU leaving is I don't have to hear Boomer Sooner every 8 fuckin seconds....
Setting the over/under at them playing it 100 times this half. Any takers on the under?
Watching this game with both offensively struggling is really weird, these are two traditionally high scoring offenses, at least over the past 25 years
I'm expecting 35+ combined points in the 4th quarter
I just like seeing Texas not be back yet again (even tho they're arguably as back as they've ever been in reality)
4th down in this game is drunk
This game is really coming down to the wire, exactly as it should.
I don’t really believe in either of these head coaches but I’ll take Venables over Sark
Is ABC using cameras from the 80s? Picture quality is so off on this game
Does seem like tatervision.
Just got back into town and turned the game on, anyone wanna gimme a quick rundown?
Insane 1st quarter. Multiple 4th down conversions, turnovers, weird punting scenarios, crazy penalties, defensive struggle. But a normal 2nd quarter.
As a neutral fan, I’d like some more of that 1st quarter, please.
Human sacrifice! Dogs and cats living together! Mass hysteria!
This is a cartoon
Apparently Texas and Oklahoma have had it with football conventional wisdom.
That's what I'm talking about, Whittington!!
Also, is anyone else's ABC feed total crap?
Yes! I was thinking it’s just me because my internet sucks.
What is this game.
It’s a rivalry bitches!
WHAT
Helluva game, Oklahoma. Glad we're sticking together going to the SEC. Enjoy the beautiful weekend staying undefeated, and may your phone inexplicably refuse to connect to your car bluetooth today.
The thirty seconds of that play was a wild rollercoaster of emotion.
OU looks fired the fuck up
Yeah. From before the kickoff they were way more energized than Texas. Texas looks hungover.
I ain’t got a horse in this race do you?
Ah the Allstate Red River Rivalry Presented By Head And Shoulders.
Red River Shootout*
Presented By Head And Shoulders
Exactly how we planned on scoring in red zone...
4d chess
This was a classic
THIS IS WILD
Ironically, I think Oklahoma needs to settle down now. Feels like they’re getting sloppy now that Texas got that TD.
What the actual hell is this going on, at this rate OU is gonna throw a pick 6 and then run the subsequent kickoff back
That’s as close as it gets.
I don’t like that call, it might be the rule but functionally that was a lateral, takes away from the potential fun imo
I was disappointed but if you’re going to pull those sorts of antics you need to execute. And the players 100% could have executed that, he just got jumpy and threw it early.
Yeah I’m just being a grumpy old man, I think you let that slide, if it was more than .75 of a yard I’d be more on board
Holy fucking shit
This game is going to kill me
I’m just enjoying this ride, the swings would kill me if my team was involved
LOL that was only one quarter of football.
I 100% thought that was going to be a touchdown.
Under the rules of this game, Texas must now return a fumble 99 yards for a TD.
Swatted twice!
OMG
Was listening to the the UT radio broadcast. Forgot how much I always enjoy the combination of deep knowledge and delusional homerism you get on the school radio networks.
OH MY!
I love Craig Way. I should mute the ABC call and put him on. Anything to shut up the boomer sooner ad nauseum
Just heard him on the FG. The amusing thing was painting the fourth largest MSA in the country and probably your largest or second largest source of recruits like some quaint backwater where your kicker would be so proud to be in front of the home folks.
A run for negative yardage followed by an interception. It will be interesting to see if the Texas offense can put that behind them.
I saw a face mask
Hope he’s OK, he looks like he’s in pain.
Massive loss for Texas, even for a couple of series. They already look awful, losing a veteran center won’t improve things at all.
Booooo
Don't agree with the call to go for it, good play call tho. Just didn't hit.
Wow. Things are just not going Texas’ way today. It seems to be some combination of bad luck and OU just showing up to play far more than Texas did.
That was gutsy. Real gutsy. Considering how Texas has been playing that could have been awful. But it might give them some badly needed momentum.
The only thing in this game longer than that kick felt (to me) is the time left on the clock.
Dude is as slow as Ajayi lol
See, if OU didn't play Boomer Sooner every 2 seconds that would be an awesome time to hear it. Instead I'm instantly annoyed.
Don’t tell the Tennessee fans I said so, but Boomer Sooner is so monotonous and even worse than Rocky Top, which is at least a real song that they grind into dust by overplaying it.
Oh I loved it. I could listen to boomer sooner all day
Two questions, longhorn fans. One, was that ball uncatchable, and two 2 would the 5 yards of difference between dpi and holding have mattered?
This game is already lit
This game is always lit
Eh I’ve seen it be a blowout before
