non-stickied PSA: we are finally beginning to work through our application backlog, and everyone in it should eventually be cleared

...unfortunately this'll take awhile. it's still about 4,780 as of writing. but that's down probably 1,000 from its peak! we finally have a hacky system to handle denials, so that's really helping here.

we also missed a bunch of cool people, who we're approving too.

we can now, finally, say that if you register, your judgement (whether approve/deny) should come down within 24-48 hours, although the deny email might take longer than that depending on circumstances.
