Can we have a megathread for youtube links to songs everyone knows so this place doesn't become r slash music?
If were gonna have a music board, I'd rather have it look like the r slash heads community because this is boring. Grateful dead & Brand New? Not exactly blowing minds out here

you've posted one thread in music two weeks before this. why did you stop there? this community is new and small enough that if you start posting the type of thing you want to see, there's a good chance you will actually have an effect on the future content of this community.
edit: my issue in this community is the fact that no one justifies their posts. for all i know everyone who posts a context free youtube video is an account controlled by google as a strange way to advertise. Maybe people have figured out a way to enjoy music without thinking about it at all? whatever the case, if someone tells me why they like something i am a billion times more likely to listen to it.
